“ME & HER”

 

There’s this gal,whom I came across,

Every time she passed by, my heart gave a toss.

Even if I wanted to, I couldn’t tell her.

That I secretly admired, & fell for her.

She showed signs a few that she almost likes me,

But that was nowhere near comforting me.

With you my love, life seemed so special,

The very thought of losing you is rebuttal.

I was a serious listener of whatever she’d to say,

I knew it’s stupid, but said instead Oh! Fine, it’s okay.

I’d to pretend that everything she did was interesting,

But without her, my life was a way too boring.

Texts transformed to calls, & calls to meetings,

We connected too much even in Facebook & tweeting.

Amidst all these, she’d find a reason for constant bickering,

She’d blame me for blunders that I’d do with nothing.

The touch of her hand, & the soft cuddle,

Was just enough to, my thoughts meddle.

She’s an angel & a real beauty,

With sparkling eyes & a constant smile on her lips pouty.

It’s been ages since I last heard from her,

I couldn’t forget, & I know I love her.

No girl could ever replace the love I’ve for her,

Well, it’s a fact & it’s just between ‘Me & Her’.
